Two Airmen from the 75th Civil Engineer Group recently returned from a deployment to Eaton, California, where they were part of a joint task force assigned to relief efforts in the aftermath of devastating wildfires.

Tech. Sgt. Alfredo Guzman and Tech. Sgt. Christopher Mathis from the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron spent two weeks removing batteries from electric vehicles and burned residences with power walls for solar panels.

“It was hard work but definitely a rewarding experience,” Guzman said.
