About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager (NH-0301-02) to work at the 412 Test Wing, Drug Demand Reduction Office, (412 TW/CDD) at Edward Air Force Base, CA.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the installation Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) preventing illicit drug use by active-duty members, DoD civilian employees, DoD family members, and other personnel supported by host-tenant agreements through drug testing and outreach/education programs.

Typical 2025 salary range: $47,019 – $112,053 per year (includes locality)
Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel possible

- Program Management and compliance oversight: Ability to manage large-scale testing programs and ensuring compliance with Air Force regulations
- Training and instruction: Skilled in conducting training for drug testing collectors
- Communication and coordination: Ability to collaborate with Commanders, legal offices, chaplains, Family Advocacy, and other agencies
- Analytical and outreach skills: Conduct outreach, education, and awareness programs.
Major Duties:
- Serves as subject matter expert for illicit drug use policies, ensuring compliance with AFIs, DoD guidelines, and federal law.
- Oversee all aspects of the installation military and civilian drug testing programs, prevention activities, and drug-use deterrence.
- Provides drug testing collector training for installation personnel and ensures collectors follow proper chain-of-custody and handling procedures.
- Provides administrative oversight to the DDRP. Represents DDRP with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Some temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required
- Knowledge of Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) goals, principles, methods, and techniques for implementation and continued support of the DDRP to include knowledge of the possible effects of illicit drug usage and alcohol misuse on mission accomplishment and community life.
- Knowledge of accepted training theories, methods, and techniques concerning group dynamics and of the techniques for facilitating groups, teaching classes, and making presentations.
- Knowledge of the budget process, including developing, maintaining, and executing a budget.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, to manage DDRP and provide educational materials.
